Your Impact

When you support Seattle Children’s, you ensure that our mission is carried out in the following key areas:

Compassionate Care

For more than 100 years, Seattle Children’s Hospital has specialized in meeting the unique physical, emotional and developmental needs of children from infancy through young adulthood.

Through the collaboration of physicians in nearly 60 pediatric subspecialties, we provide inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic, surgical, rehabilitative, behavioral, emergency and outreach services – regardless of a family’s ability to pay.

Keeping Kids Healthy and Safe

At Seattle Children’s, we’re always thinking of the health and well-being of every child, teen and family in the community. We reach beyond our hospital every day to provide programs and services to make children, teens and families safer and healthier where they live. Our commitment to caring for the community is our passion, our duty and our privilege.

An Inspiring Story: Meet Hudson

Hudson suddenly began experiencing symptoms of heart failure. His family made the trip from Eatonville, Washington to Seattle Children’s, where pediatric heart experts recommended a heart transplant. With compassionate care and comprehensive cardiac treatment, he got his new heart. Today, Hudson is the honorary captain of his hometown football team — and Seattle Children’s is right there cheering him on.

An Inspiring Story: Meet Aisley

The expertise and compassionate care from Seattle Children’s ensured Aisley had the best chance at a full recovery. Now six and a half, Aisley has regained her spark—playful, loving, and thriving. Her family is deeply grateful for the hospital’s world-renowned care that made this possible.

An Inspiring Story: Meet The Hatch Family

The Hatch family faced an unimaginable challenge—two of their children battling life-threatening diagnoses at the same time. During pregnancy, they learned that one of their twins, William, had a severe heart defect. Then, shortly after birth, their toddler, Penny, was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a tumor in her spinal cord.

Seattle Children’s provided expert medical care, financial assistance, and logistical support, ensuring both parents could be at their children’s bedsides.

An Inspiring Story: Meet Faye

As a 19-year-old adult, Faye, an avid swimmer and college freshman, was diagnosed with leukemia. She chose to be treated at Seattle Children’s where internationally recognized experts treat the toughest cancers. Faye considers this the best decision of her life. She is now in remission and back to swimming and school.

About a third of patients with cancer at Seattle Children’s are teens or young adults into their 20s.

An Inspiring Story: Meet Jiana

At just two weeks old, Jiana started experiencing unusual “freezing” spells. Once at Seattle Children’s, Jiana was diagnosed with severe epilepsy that only the most dramatic brain surgery could cure. Weeks later, Jiana underwent an 8-hour procedure that would give her a new start, free of seizures. Now a thriving toddler, Jiana is proving nothing can keep her down.

I’ll always remember her Seattle Children’s family and how much love they showed to Aliyanna.
